Website Design Process

Before work can begin on a website there is a lot of work involved in the design process. Many factors must be considered and of course you need to know what kind of website you are looking for.

We understand that things may also change along the way and original plans may be changed or even discarded. However that's not a problem because Silverline Web Solutions strive to provide the best possible service.

The steps below outline the basic design process that is involved in designing and publishing a website on the internet. Although it may sound complicated we try and make it a simple process.

Website Design Process

	Initial Meeting We would always like to suggest setting up a meeting as a first step in the process, so that we may get to know you and your company, and you as a customer can get a better understanding of how we work. We certainly don't bite, and we're friendly and approachable. During this meeting we will discuss exactly what you're looking for and to find out what your requirements are.

	Quote After the initial meeting, we will calculate a quote based on the requirements set out in the meeting. We will then contact you with the details of the quote so you know exactly what's what. If you are happy with the quote, we will ask for a deposit to cover any fees incurred whilst the website is in development.
	Design & Development Once a deposit has been paid we will then commence with the design process. This includes purchasing of any domain names, add-ons and paid extras. The website will then begin development and the design will be created and formed into a web usable format. We always keep close contact with you to make sure that you are happy with everything along every step of the way.
	Construction Once the main template is done, the next step is to start work adding the individual pages to the website. This is the part where you will see everything really come together. You will see how the website will evolve over this time as pages are added.
	Website Checks After the website construction has finished, checks will be made to make sure that everything is in order and as it should be. You will be kept up to date throughout the design process to make sure you are completely satisfied with everything we do. Once you have checked the website over then the final stages will commence.
	Finalise & Payment When all checks have been made and the website is completed, your website will be put onto the internet (live) for everyone to see. Any scripts or settings will also be activated to make sure the website runs properly (such as payment gateways & transactions). When you are happy with everything then only will we ask for the remaining sum.
